Recycled Plastic Bag Dresses.
I saw these awesome dresses made entirely from recycled plastic bags on the Threadbanger site.

I have also been reading an Etsy Labs post about making fabric from melted plastic bags, and am now quite excited to try this out, maybe to make a shopping bag . . .

One step forward, two steps back.
I wish I had more time to allow me to blog many times a day, and think about nothing but fashion. Alas, my life is not as such. I really wanted to keep up with this blog on a daily basis, and I haven’t even managed a week. I will endeavour to blog as often as possible and keep you updated with my fumblings in fashion.
For now, as I try to fill my sketchbooks with beautiful drawings and inspiration for my forthcoming project, I will leave you with this image of my super new shoes which I am sure you have heard enough about already.
Tonight
I am annoyed, as I haven’t managed to take any pictures of the things I have been making to show you. However I have been working hard on designs and inspiration, and I will hopefully be able to show you some sneak peek pictures tomorrow, or early next week.
I am using urban texture as a theme for my current designs and this is one of the images I am using in my research.
The purse that I am making is having a few design issues so I will be altering my design and seeing if I can make it work.
I am loving the new Mui Mui ad campaign with Kirsten Dunst, the colour scheme and the styling is super and suits to alter Kirsten’s girl-next-door looks perfectly. I love her powdered out face and red lips, they really make the outfits.

The shoes, the shoes, the shoes!
The shoes arrived today, and they are just as fab as I had hoped they would be! I am in love with them. Not only are they cream, round toe, chunky gold-tipped heel, t-bar beauties, they are also supremely comfy and easy to walk in, due to the solid heal and the sturdy straps. Woot! I foresee much wearing of these in the future. I am also working on a purse, that I will post pictures of soon, possibly with a how-to guide.
